Living in New York comes with countless perks. I took advantage of one of them recently and spent an evening with Trish McEvoy. The venue was a private room in Bloomingdales (perk!) There was a group of every type woman there. Young, middle-aged, senior, and we all took some fab tips home with us.
Trish McEvoy was very captivating and had a great sense of humor. You can tell that she is passionate about her work by how animated and excited she is to share her tricks and tips. She makes it seem so easy and natural to enhance, conceal and celebrate our faces! Her idea is simple, just 8 steps, although while taking notes I somehow ended up with 11! But fear not, her 8 steps are readily available on her website (Trish McEvoy) Her make-up tips are innovative and different than others that you have heard before. I don’t want to spoil it but you will find the alphabet is involved! One of her steps initially made me look like a clown! But once blended, it really worked!
After Trish McEvoy‘s presentation we were treated to a make-over by her trained and very talented staff. She had many of them available to us so we could each get a comprehensive lesson. They demonstrated the steps on us and had us try each one ourselves so we would retain the information. I was actually excited to try it out myself the next morning. Her products conveniently fit into a little notebook which makes it easily portable. The notebooks are totally customizable so you can fill it with make-up that you mix and match to your own preference.
It really was a great night, executed with passion and one that I will remember for a long time to come. And if I need a refresher all I have to do is visit Trish McEvoy.
You had me at “(With Wine!)”! Haha. What a lovely event to attend! Hope all is well. 😀
