Well once again I find myself with an injury! My brother says I am very fragile ;( The really sad part is I cannot wear heels, and it is the holidays, and I am a shoe freak. This is pretty awful!

Since heels are out for now I had to totally rethink my New Year’s Eve outfit. Here is what I came up with. It makes me happy! 🙂 It’s still pretty hot, right?! Check out the large picture of the skirt, it is one to love <3.

I have seen with my own kids that getting a pocket knife is really special, like a right of passage. You decide what age you think is appropriate, I found that 12 is about right. He was devastated but my husband still has the knife although it looks a bit different now. Learn from our mistake!!
