Snow Boots Boring? Here are some that aren’t! Check these out and let me know what you think! I can personally attest to the Sorel boots being excellent. I was walking in NYC during a Nor’easter when my Beech Street Boots failed me miserably! My feet were cold, sloshy and soaking wet! I had no choice other than to pop into Lord & Taylor and buy Sorel boots. My feet have been toasty and dry ever since! If you read to the end there is a surprise!
Bergdorf Goodman’s Shoe Salon is something to celebrate! If you can’t get there yourself I will share some of the highlights with you. It is exhilarating to be among all of the shoes we lust over in magazines. When seeing them on display it can be like meeting an old friend! Well, to me and other shoes freaks, anyway! I apologize, I got too excited and didn’t note every designer. That is where you come in! If you can name any of the designers that I missed I would greatly appreciate it. One of my absolutely favorite things to do is to stroll down Fifth Ave. Christmastime on Fifth Ave. is especially wonderful. It is breathtaking to me! It gives me so much joy. Just to stand in the midst of the Avenue triggers Christmastime for me. A glorious time of year, even if just for one hour. This year I am sharing my photos with you just in case you weren’t able to see it for yourself.
