                                             Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+
Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes
Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+ really does live up to what it claims to do. “Increase your average lash volume by up to 400%” It is easy to use, just 3 simple steps and the results are amazing. You can see the difference in my photo below. I just can’t get over it! With this product all you need is to apply it and add some Bella Reina vegan lip color and you are out the door!
I have tried another similar product but did not get the same results. First of all the fibers were white and didn’t stay  put. Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+ comes with fibers that are black and I have seen that they do not “shed”! It lasts all day without loosing its dramatic look.

Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+ also comes off easily and completely. I am totally thrilled with this product. It saves me time and effort (lol)! I have been asked if I have on false lashes when I wear it. I am so happy that they are not because I find when I remove false lashes some of my own lashes come out too. Now I never have to wear them again!
You should try it! I’m sure you would love it too. Just look at the results! Amazing!
Now I gotta run and go make up my other eye lashes!!

Skin Care Routine to Stay Forever Young!

Create A Routine in Your 30’s to Reduce Skin Problems Later in Life

It might be hard to believe, but thinking about your skin care routine in your 30s is extremely important. In fact, taking advantage of certain anti-aging techniques now can prevent you from having to undergo face-lift and other major procedures when you get @evianolder, or at least delay the need for such procedures significantly.

Why Your Skin Changes in Your 30s
As young people, our bodies produce growth hormones that keep our skin looking healthy and strong. By the time we hit our 30s, levels of those hormones have dropped off significantly. That’s why, if you are around that age, you are probably noticing that your skin is changing, and not for the better. Your skin could get thinner and drier. You could also experience changes in your skin pigmentation.

Beyond the normal changes in complexion, women in their 30s are extra likely to have skin problems because of the hormone changes associated with menstruation, pregnancy, and giving birth. So, if you are an expectant mother, skin care is even more important.

Stress is Also a Factor in Skin Health
Your skin health can also be negatively impacted by stress. That’s why both men and women in stressful environments are more likely to develop skin problems. So, finding ways to relax and reduce your stress levels now can keep you from having to undergo major procedures such as aesthetic laser machine treatments or chemical peels later on.

Keep Yourself Healthy to Avoid Skin Problems
Part of your daily skin care routine should be generally keeping yourself healthy. That includes eating a proper diet that consists of a lot of fresh vegetables, fruits, and lean meats. It also means exercising daily, avoiding smoking, and staying away from products that are high in man-made chemicals.

The Products That You Should be Using Daily
The most important product you should be using each day is a pH balanced cleanser. Using it in the morning and at night can keep your skin clean. This is especially true if you use a lot of makeup, which could otherwise clog your pores, especially if you were to sleep with it on. (NEVER do that!)

It’s also important that one of your daily skin care products contains sunscreen. You might not realize it, but you are exposed to a lot more UV days than you think each day, even if it’s cloudy. Using such a product on a daily basis will give you a lot more protection than if you were to only put sunscreen on at the beach.

Another important part of any daily skin health regimen is the use of a good eye cream. It can help to prevent wrinkles and crow’s feet from forming later. That’s a lot easier than getting rid of them after they appear.

A general rule of thumb is to look for products that contain hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and antioxidants. All of those are great for your skin. At the same time, avoid any products that contain harsh chemicals. Also, don’t use any harsh scrubs because they could remove your skin’s natural oils. It might sound difficult, but once you find a few products you can rely upon, your daily skin care routine will only take a few minutes. (I have sensitive skin and can not use Vitamin C on my face but there are plenty substitutes out there)

I use Bella Reina Cosmetics – Vegan Makeup and Vegan Cosmetics . They are pure and gentle and do not irritate my skin.

When my makeup application is complete I give a spritz of Evian to set everything. If feels so good! It is also a good way to refresh throughout the day.

I remove my make up with Simple wipes and then I wash my face with Simple facial wash. All very gentle to my skin.

Art Hearts Fashion

During #NYFWSS2016 I attended a few shows showcased by Art Hearts Fashion.  Art Hearts Fashion showcases the most artistic international designers coast to coast during their respective fashion weeks. They are philanthropic in nature and work each season with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and Make a Wish. The shows are held in different settings throughout the city and I attended several of them at New York’s Grand Central Station. And they proved to be just that, GRAND! The designers had a very original perspective and set their own unique mood that really filled the grandiose space.  They were very well attended and all very memorable for sure!

Rockin Robin Inside Out

Rockin Robin Inside Out

In Babelogue Patty Smith said “In heart I’m an American artist, and I have no guilt. I seek pleasure. I seek the nerves under your skin.”

And that is how I liked to think of myself. But it is not true. How could I have no guilt when I have a mother and I am a mother! I never managed to get past being the good daughter, doing everything right and being respectable. I wanted to seek the nerve under people’s skin but I never could exactly go that far without something stopping me. Is that what keeps me from being a true artist? There is always the struggle of who I am. The baby, (as my parents still refer to me in my 40’s), the daughter, the woman, the wife, the Mom, the Director of Entertainment at country club. Does that sound like a free soul, a free-spirited person? Or someone who is always dictated to, as to who I should be. My husband put it so beautifully to me once when he said “You have the heart of an artist” and I cried.

artist, emotions, truth, rockin robin, #rockinrobin

I still cry when I think of it. My Heart, my true heart is an artist. I strive for that, I die for that. For that feeling of being able to express my innards through an outward medium. But then I stop, I make dinner, I help with homework, I bandage a knee, I do laundry, I talk to my parents, every day. So where is this free spirit, this artist, this wild uninhibited soul? She is often very hard to find, but I know she exists because I feel her so strongly sometime. She erupts deep inside of me and come spurting out with a ferocity you can’t imagine, unless you are an artist. She sees art everywhere, she see a whole collection of new scarves to make in one walk to the beach. The colors the sand waves, they move me from the inside out. This strong overwhelming emotion must spill out now and then, even if dinner is due. To constantly repress it is hard. To put it to bed for years to instead change diapers is stifling. But I did it and it was my most important work so far and will continue to be. I am mother first and always will be. Without regrets, it is most dear to me, but let me emote, let it run out. See me cry and know I am my happiest then, sometimes.

This is when the creativity is at its height, when it feels right. But I can and will and am willing to tuck it away and keep it that way, to take care of business, until the next time. Watch out, it’s erupting! Beware! I hope this is what my kids will love me for. See, now I am crying, but it is good and I hope this will be recognized and turn into something tangible that flowed right out of me.

I wrote this quite a while ago. While re-reading it I realize it still rings true. Now that my kids are older I have been able to nurture my inner creativity again. Was it worth the wait? It absolutely was. Would I do it differently if I know what I know now? Yes, absolutely. In retrospect what did I learn? I learned that I can be all of those things at once. Packing part of me away for so long could have had way too many negative effects. But now I find, when the time is right for it, I will blossom again and again.
